Description

With a light, flo­ral scent and but­tery fla­vour, Cal­i­for­nia White Jas­mine Rice is prac­ti­cal­ly irre­sistible. This long-grain clings togeth­er when cooked but isn’t sticky, so you can serve it in Thai cur­ries, pilafs, and desserts that call for dis­tinct ker­nels and fluffy textures.

They cultivate food in a way that protects and preserves soil, water, air, and wildlife, with the intention to share good, from the grain up! Their rice is sent to us in 100% recyclable paper sacks. This grain cooks best in a 1:1.5 ratio of rice to water/broth. The following steps are from Lundberg’s product page.

 

Stovetop Cooking Instructions:

Combine rice, liquid, and butter or oil in a pot, and bring to a boil.

Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer, and cook for 15 minutes.

Remove from heat (keep covered) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.

 

Rice Cooker Instructions:

To prepare in a rice cooker, use the same liquid to rice ratio. If rice is too firm at the end of cooking, it may be necessary to add 1 – 2 tbsp liquid and cook longer.
